As the busy and burning season approaches, it's important for drone pilots to be aware of the challenges that high-temperature environments can bring. Issues such as low charging speed, overheated charger/batteries, or RC black screen/reboot can often be attributed to overheating. In this article, we will provide some helpful tips to ensure smooth and safe agriculture drone operations in high-temperature conditions.
Battery Care:
Monitor Battery Temperature: If the battery cell temperature exceeds 65℃, the third indicator will flash, indicating overheating. In such cases, the batteries should not be charged. Use a battery cooling box or place the battery in the shade with good ventilation. Wiping the battery case with a damp cloth can also aid in cooling.
